The Nariño Government, through the Departmental Tourism Administrative Directorate; the World Travel Journalism Organization (WTJO); and the local associations Morada al Sur and Ayllu have announced the nominees in four categories for the First Regional Travel Journalism Award: Nariño, a destination for all 2025. This competition seeks to recognize the best videographic works that highlight diversity, sustainability, inclusive tourism, and the culture of peace in the department.
Award Ceremony and announcement of winners
The winners of the first and second place in each category will be announced in a special ceremony to be held on April 2, 2025, in Nariño. The event will be a space to recognize the talent of communicators and content creators who have used their platforms to highlight the values of sustainable and inclusive tourism in the region.

An Event to Promote Transformative Tourism
The award aims to foster the creation of content that promotes a more equitable and sustainable vision of tourism in Nariño, promoting accessibility, community processes, and the culture of peace.
The event on April 2 will bring together communicators, teachers, students, people from the value chain, and content creators who, through their work, have contributed to highlighting the cultural and natural richness of the department.
