Macedo, Madariaga, Joins the Global Network of Emerging Destinations

In a ceremony held at the General Madariaga municipality, the town of Macedo was officially incorporated into the Global Network of Emerging Destinations, becoming the tenth destination to join this international initiative that promotes sustainable development and the visibility of regions with great tourism potential.
The signing of the incorporation agreement was attended by mayor Carlos Esteban Santoro; the secretary of culture and tourism, Karina Uribe; the founding president of the Network and the World Organization of Travel Journalism (WTJO), Miguel Ledhesma; and the WTJO directors for Argentina, María Ulivi and Bernardo Sabisky. Journalists from WTJO and local communicators also participated, celebrating Macedo's inclusion in this global network that fosters tourism from a perspective of identity, authenticity, and collaborative growth.
This new step positions Macedo as a destination to watch on the international tourism map, with the backing of an organization that works toward ethical, inclusive, and transformative communication in tourism.
