On the evening of November 27, the Hotel Morasurco hosted a press conference to officially launch the “Tour Huella: Tu huella cuenta” strategy, an initiative by the Administrative Directorate of Tourism of Nariño aimed at transforming the department’s approach to tourism.
This strategy has two main objectives:
1. Conduct a statistical study to identify the types of tourists visiting Nariño, in order to understand their preferences and behaviors.
2. Implement an interactive QR code, which will compile and disseminate all the tourism offerings in the department, enhancing visitors’ experiences and providing access to up-to-date information.
Claudia Erazo Casabón, head of the Administrative Directorate of Tourism, emphasized that this project aligns with the principles of sustainable and regenerative tourism, prioritizing respect for natural resources, local communities, and regional culture. “Our goal is not only to attract tourists but also to ensure that each visitor leaves a positive mark on our territory while taking with them an unforgettable experience of Nariño,” said Erazo.
The launch of “Tour Huella” represents a milestone in Nariño’s tourism management, showcasing the region’s commitment to a development model that benefits everyone—from host communities to travelers, who will have the opportunity to enjoy the cultural, scenic, and gastronomic richness of this unique destination.
